i think the abe schnaurman in this picture was married
to my aunt who died tragically not long after they
met. it would be nice to contact someone from that era
who knew him or what happened to him.my aunts name was

Hank Schwartz (4th. from right)married and settled
down in Derry.He worked as a carpenter in various
building sites that I worked in incl. Nelson Drive and
Creggan. Died sometime ago maybe in the 80s.
We called him Harry and he was an absolute gentleman.
He had the flattest feet I ever saw, don't know how he
ever got into the services. |

then my grandmother live there after the navy service
man left. The camp was a home for people to live in
after the navy had gone. my mother has great memorys
